Pirates beats Red Sox again

Lyle Overbay hit a three-run homer as the Pirates spoiled Tim Wakefield's homecoming with a 6-4 win over the Red Sox in Pittsburgh.
Wakefield, making his first start in Pittsburgh in 18 years, gave up five runs and seven hits in six innings.
Athletics 4, Phillies 1: Trevor Cahill (8-5) tossed three-hit ball into the eighth for visiting Oakland.
White Sox 3, Nationals 0:Jake Peavy threw four dominant innings for host Chicago.
Jays 6, Cardinals 3: Juan Rivera's three-run shot keyed a five-run third in St. Louis.
Tigers 6, Diamondbacks 0: Justin Verlander (10-3) struck out a career-high 14 and allowed four hits in eight innings for host Detroit.
Angels 6, Dodgers 1: Tyler Chatwood pitched seven innings for the visiting Angels.
Braves 10, Padres 1: Jair Jurrjens (10-3) became the first 10-game winner in the NL and visiting Atlanta had eight extra-base hits. Dan Uggla hit a three-run homer.
Rays 7, Astros 2: B.J. Upton homered for the visiting Rays.
Reds 10, Orioles 5: Joey Votto homered twice and drove in five runs for visiting Cincinnati, which hit five of the nine homers in the game.
Brewers 11, Twins 1: Prince Fielder's 21st home run was one of four homers by host Milwaukee.
Giants 1, Indians 0: Tony Sipp balked home a run with the bases loaded in the seventh in San Francisco. -- AP
