The fourth annual NHL Winter Classic will go on Saturday in Pittsburgh, but the Town of Oyster Bay won’t be able to skate along with the show.

A planned viewing party at the town’s Ice Skating Rink in Bethpage has been canceled because the NHL was forced to postpone its annual outdoor game from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. because of rain and unusually warm temperatures in Pittsburgh. The NHL’s annual New Year’s Day outdoor game this year features the Washington Capitals traveling to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh to take on the Penguins.

Skating at the Town of Oyster Bay rink ends at 6 p.m.
