Police: Couple had heroin in car with 7-month-old

Police say a Ridge couple was in possession of heroin and a hypodermic needle while their 7-month-old daughter was in the car with them.
Koralynn Ingraham, 23, and William Campanaro, 28, were in court today to face drug charges and a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.
Suffolk police say they approached the couple’s car on Church Lane in Middle Island at around 6:15 last night under the belief a drug deal was happening. Police say Campanaro was in possession of the heroin and that Ingraham had a hypodermic needle.
Christina Ingraham is Koralynn Ingraham’s stepmother who lives near the couple in Ridge. She tells News 12 Long Island that she has never known the couple to do drugs, but said that heroin is a growing problem in the community.
The couple's 7-month-old child was released to a family member and Child Protective Services was notified.
Police say Ingraham was also wanted on a warrant and falsely gave police her sister's name.
