Forecasters predict it's going to be in the upper 80s in Nassau and the low 90s in Suffolk.
But with the heat index accounting for humidity, it's going to feel like 105 degrees, the National Weather Service said. In fact, officials have issued an excessive heat watch for Nassau and an air-quality alert for Nassau, Suffolk and New York City.
