Poll: Should deer hunts be allowed on LI?

Since 2004, shotgun and archery hunts have been held on Long Island to help reduce the deer population. Officials say the growing deer population creates problems for ornamental landscapes and increases the number of deer-car collisions. But others say leave the deer alone.
