Poll: Will Long Island get a big snowstorm this winter?

A record high daily temperature of 52 degrees was set Tuesday morning at Long Island MacArthur Airport as January went out like a lamb.
The high at 11:12 a.m. exceeded the Jan. 31, 1988, record of 51 degrees at the Ronkonkoma monitoring station, the National Weather Service said.
