Katie Poppe had 31 points, 14 rebounds and five assists for Holy Trinity in a 66-54 win over St. Mary's Tuesday in CHSAA girls basketball.

Poppe had 23 second-half points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. She hit a three-pointer with two minutes left to make it a nine-point game. Shannon Flynn's 19 points led St. Mary's (1-2). St. Anthony's 46, St. John the Baptist 40: Kerrin Maurer scored 12 points to lead St. Anthony's (3-0). Micky Impellizeri added 10 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals. St. John the Baptist is 1-2.

Baldwin 55, Mepham 50: Alex Hampton had 14 points, four assists and four steals and Kaliyn Russell added eight points and 23 rebounds for Baldwin (3-0) in Nassau Conference AA-I. Great Neck South 53, Bellmore JFK 45: Michelle Ross had 22 points and 11 rebounds and Daisy Xu had nine points, nine rebounds, six steals and four assists to lead Great Neck South (4-0) in Conference AA-II.

Port Washington 60, Hempstead 50: Emma Horowitz had 17 points, 13 rebounds and five steals for Port Washington (3-1) in Conference AA-III.Division 58, Wantagh 47: Kristen Stuart had 15 points and 12 rebounds for Division (3-0) in Conference ABC-I.Elmont 48, New Hyde Park 30: Reauna Dorner scored 13 points and Jasmine Cobbs 12 for Elmont (1-2). Garden City 35, South Side 30: Barbara Sullivan (16 points) scored 10 consecutive points in the third quarter to break a tie at 18 for Garden City (3-0). Kim Ryan added 12 points on four three-pointers and Christina Mangels had 19 rebounds.Seaford 76, North Shore 35: Senior Steph Lebitz had a career-high 29 points for Seaford (1-2) in Conference ABC-II.Great Neck North 45, West Hempstead 39: Jen Doppelt had 23 points, 15 rebounds, eight blocked shots and seven steals to lead Great Neck North (2-2) in Conference ABC-V. Katie Lynch scored 20 points for West Hempstead.

Sachem East 69, Commack 35: Kristen Doherty had 19 points, nine steals, seven rebounds and four assists, Meagan Doherty had 12 points and Kathleen Everson 10 points for Sachem East (4-0) in Suffolk League I.Brentwood 45, Longwood 40: Jasmine Burwell scored on a baseline jumper off an assist from Ruth Vargas with 56 seconds left to give Brentwood (2-2) a 42-40 lead. Danielle English hit two free throws with eight seconds left to cap the scoring. Deslyn Applewhaite had 11 points and eight rebounds.Floyd 55, Patchogue-Medford 51: Lushanata Savadel had 11 points and 20 rebounds and hit the first free throw on a one-and-one to put Floyd (2-1) up by four with 15 seconds remaining. Monique Walker added 23 points and 10 rebounds.Smithtown East 58, West Islip 41: Christina Cohen scored 19 points, including five three-pointers and also had five assists and five steals to lead Smithtown East (2-0) in League III. Nicole Shevlin had 10 points and 10 rebounds.East Islip 47, Centereach 30: Jessica Calamusso had 20 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals to lead East Islip (2-0). Smithtown West 68, Riverhead 62: Shneeka Center had 32 points and 11 rebounds and Sarah English had 21 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks for Smithtown West (2-0) in League IV.Kings Park 45, Huntington 35: Jamie Romano had 12 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks and Janine Cascio nine points and four steals to lead Kings Park (4-0) in League V.Hauppauge 42, Islip 40: Shannon Duer scored on a putback to give Islip a one-point lead with 25 seconds left, but Lindsey Alfano hit a three-pointer with 11 seconds remaining to win it for Hauppauge (2-2). Stephanie Peragallo had 14 points and 11 rebounds.Sayville 38, Comsewogue 35: Emily Paul hit a jumper to give Sayville the lead with 45 seconds remaining and Brenna Bachety hit a baseline jumper with 30 seconds left to put Sayville (3-1) up three. Mia Bonacore scored six of her 10 points in the fourth quarter.Glenn 37, Bayport-Blue Point 30: Allison McKenna had eight of her 18 points in a 12-7 fourth quarter for Glenn (3-1) in League VI. McKenna scored the final six points of the game to win it for Glenn. She also had 12 rebounds.Wyandanch 68, Hampton Bays 61: Kim Weathers scored 35 points to lead Wyandanch (1-1) in League VII.
