A questionnaire mailed out by the Port Jefferson Board of Education to help guide upcoming budget decisions has not yet arrived at numerous homes, leading the board to extend the deadline for submission.

The new deadline for submitting the Educational Values Questionaire is 4 p.m. on Feb. 15. Questionnaires can be mailed to the District Clerk, 550 Scraggy Hill Rd., Port Jefferson, NY 11777, or dropped off at any district office or any of the schools’ main offices.

In a separate news release, Superintendent Max Riley officially announced that students will attend school on the three scheduled make-up days (April 18, April 25 and May 27). District students have missed four days of school due to the recent snowstorms, and the district is still determining how students will make up the fourth day.
