A free KidPix photo ID program will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Port Washington Library at 1 Library Dr.
The event sponsored by Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano will provide participating families with a wallet-sized ID card that includes the child’s name, physical description, contact information and photograph. The child’s fingerprint is also included on the back of the card. If a child is missing, parents can give the card to law enforcement officials.
The cards are processed at the event.
