The northbound side of Plandome Road in Port Washington will be closed beginning today from Stonytown Road through the Science Museum at Leeds Pond, according to Peter A. Forman, commissioner of the Port Washington-Manhasset Office of Emergency Management.
The road will be closed through Friday, in order to install new water mains.
A detour has been set up where most northbound traffic will divert to Stonytown Road, and then onto Port Washington Boulevard, Forman said in a news release. The work will be performed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
