Post's Laurino hits Binckes to win with 24 seconds left

Steven Laurino completed 30 of 53 passes for 429 yards and four touchdowns, including a 10-yard scoring pass to Sean Binckes with 24 seconds left as LIU Post edged Saint Anselm, 41-40, in Northeast-10 football on Friday night.

Binckes had nine catches for 99 yards and four touchdowns and Joe Botti hauled in eight throws for 117 yards in the win.

Laurino also carried 18 times for 104 yards, and Mike Williams had 91 yards on 16 carries for Post (4-5, 3-5).

Kenny Scotland had six total tackles, including two for a loss, and a sack, Rob Bright had 15 total tackles and Michael Richardson had an interception in the win.

Saint Anselm is 0-9, 0-8.

RPI 28, USMMA 13: Matt Lane ran for touchdowns of 38 and 5 yards yesterday for host RPI (4-4). USMMA's Kristopher Meyer connected with Connor Kennedy on a 70-yard TD pass early in the third quarter to get within 21-13.

Nassau CC 49, Globe Tech 6: Anthony Robbis threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns to lead Nassau CC (9-1) in non-conference Friday night. Yahkee Johnson scored on an 85-yard pass and Josh Mcphearson had an 85-yard scoring run in the win. Poncho Barnwell had seven tackles and three sacks and Reggie Robinson had an interception.
