The NFL is done with bye weeks in 2015, and the Giants (5-5) reside atop the NFC East with all teams having played 10 games. But there's no way Big Blue should feel comfortable with the Eagles and Redskins, both 4-6, nipping at their heels and the 3-7 Cowboys, with Tony Romo back in the lineup, not far behind.

With six games to go, the division crown and its guaranteed home playoff game is within each team's grasp. There's no way to know how the final stretch shakes out, but amNewYork is taking a stab at projecting the final standings.

GIANTS (8-8)

The Giants figure to make it five years running with a 3-3 record over the final six games. In a bad year for the NFC East, that should be enough to fend off the competition.

COWBOYS (7-9)

This team likely would have won the crown easily if Romo hadn't broken his collarbone in Week 2. He's 3-0 in his starts, and he can lead Dallas to a 4-2 finish. It's possible they finish 8-8 and edge the Giants on tiebreakers.

EAGLES (7-9)

Matchups against elite teams -- Patriots on Dec. 6 and Cardinals on Dec. 20 -- are likely losses. The division crown is poised to go to the victor of the Week 17 game against the Giants at MetLife Stadium.

REDSKINS (6-10)

Washington is the only team of the four that plays the bulk of its division slate from here out, with just two games against non-NFC East foes. They can beat the Giants at home on Sunday but should drop the other three matchups.
