Romo's 3 TD passes, Murray's 228 total yards lead Cowboys
DeMarco Murray ran for a season-high 179 yards and a touchdown, Tony Romo threw for three scores and the Cowboys beat the Bears, 41-28, Thursday night in Chicago.
The Cowboys (9-4) made it look easy for most of the night against the struggling Bears (5-8). Dallas clinched its first winning season since 2009.
Bears receiver Brandon Marshall left the field during the second quarter in an ambulance, headed for a hospital after suffering what was announced as an injury to his ribs.
Marshall later tweeted: "Thanks for the Prayers. I'm Good. #MindOverMatter''
Ngata suspended 4 games
Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was suspended without pay for four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances. He will miss the rest of the regular season but will be eligible for the playoffs, the league said.
He said in a statement released by the team that he took Adderall, a drug used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Clowney's season over
Texans coach Bill O'Brien announced that rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, the first overall pick in the draft, will have a second knee surgery, ending his season.
Clowney was injured in Week 1 and had arthroscopic surgery Sept. 8. He played three games since then but never recovered completely from the procedure and said last week that he's still in a lot of pain.
Austin leaves hospital
Browns receiver Miles Austin was released from a Buffalo-area hospital after a three-day stay because of a kidney injury suffered Sunday. The team put him on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season.
