'TOP CHEF' V. TEXAS. Reality-show producer Magical Elves is suing the Texas attorney general over the AG agreeing to comply with a Freedom of Information Act request. The Dallas Observer had inquired about $400,000 in taxpayer money that the state tourism board paid to "Top Chef," which filmed its upcoming season in Texas. The company doesn't want details about the money to be released.
