Brentwood is trying to go 23-0 and win a state Class AA title for the second time in three seasons, but so far it's not going well.

Brentwood trails 2-0 at the half. The Indians came in having allowed one goal in the last 12 games.

Jeff Greblick scored off a pass from David Verdis with 5:30 left in the first half. Greblick then hit the post and Verdis scored on the rebound 40 seconds later to give Arlington.

HALFTIME: ARLINGTON 2, BRENTWOOD 1

Well, Brentwood has responded right away. Just 51 seconds into the second half, Carlos Menjivar scored off a cross from Carlos Escobar. Brentwood trails, 2-1.

Escobar is stopped on a great save by Alex Fazio with 22:40 left. Still 2-1 Arlington leads.

Ten minutes left in the game and Brentwood trails, 2-1.

It is over. Brentwood loses 2-1.
