Cops: Upstate teens caught having sex in bathroom
State police say they've charged two teenagers who were caught having sex in a men's restroom at the Empire State Convention Center in downtown Albany.
Troopers assigned to patrol the Empire State Plaza say they were checking out a report of disturbing sounds coming from a men's bathroom at the Convention Center on Monday afternoon when they found an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man having sex.
The teens, both from Saratoga Springs, were charged with public lewdness. Their names haven't been released.
Troopers say the man was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana for having a plastic bag of pot. The woman was found with a partially consumed bottle of rum and was charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21.
