Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's popularity isn't limited to New York, if campaign funds raised from out-of-staters are a guide. A total 115 of 457 individuals who contributed to Cuomo in the first half of 2012 were not listed as New Yorkers, according to his latest disclosure. They forked over $488,260 of $3.1 million in contributions from individuals.

Checks came in from 14 other states, plus Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. In New Jersey, 76 people wrote checks totaling $110,835. The biggest haul came from California -- where 10 people contributed a total of $163,300.

Eighteen out-of-staters gave $10,000 or more, and appeared to be mostly in the real estate and entertainment business.
