Cuomo watch: Wheeling and dealing
They're peddling Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's agenda.
Or, make that pedaling.
Cuomo, who has previously dispatched cabinet members to push for same-sex marriage, property-tax caps, big investments in Buffalo and the "world's largest convention center" in Queens, is now sending some of them on the annual Erie Canal Bike Tour.
The eight-day, 400-mile ride runs from Buffalo to Albany and concludes next Sunday.
Those scheduled to participate include Economic Development Commissioner Kenneth Adams, Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey and Environmental Conservation Commissioner Joseph Martens. Along the way, they will be promoting upstate economic development.
None is expected to ride the entire route. -- Yancey Roy
