The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is reminding anglers that the deadline for Long Island state park fishing permits is April 30.

For sport fishing, the fee is $30 for state residents.

The permit is valid for fishing after sunset from April 1 to Dec. 31, except where noted: Valid for Captree, Main field and Overlook; Jones Beach, Fields 6, 10, West End 2 and West End Boat Basin; Hither Hills, except Memorial Day to Labor Day; Montauk Point, lower parking lot only; Robert Moses, Field 2, Field 3 and 4 mid-September to Dec. 31 only; Sunken Meadow, Field 1 and Field 3; and Wildwood.

Permits are sold at regional headquarters, Jones Beach, Montauk Downs, Robert Moses, Sunken Meadow and Wildwood.

For four-wheel-drive beach vehicle fishing permits, the fee is $65 for state residents. The permit is valid for Hither Hills, Napeague and Montauk Point year-round and Democrat Point at Robert Moses from April 1 to Dec. 31. Permits are sold at regional headquarters, Montauk Downs and Robert Moses.

The fee for Camp Hero fishing permits is $40 for state residents. Permits are sold at regional headquarters and Montauk Downs. Permits are valid 24 hours daily April 1 to Dec. 31.
