New York husband and wife killed in Vermont motorcycle crash
State Police say a husband and wife from Troy, New York, were killed when the motorcycle they were on hit a guardrail on Vermont Route 9 in Woodford.
Police say 41-year-old Dennis Haughney Jr. was driving a motorcycle westbound at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control and hit a guardrail. Both Haughney and his 41-year-old wife Kathy Haughney were killed.
Both victims were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
