Officials say a terminal at New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport has reopened after a computer monitor caused a precautionary shutdown.

FBI agent Bryan Travers says the monitor normally emits small amounts of radiation and there was no danger.

The terminal is home to American Airlines at the airport and was shut down during Monday morning’s investigation.

American Airlines spokesman Tim Smith says the package was found behind the ticket counter at a security checkpoint.
