Missing student's kin: Keep info prominent
The family of a missing Indiana University student from Westchester County is upset that the school has taken information about her June 3 disappearance off its main Web page.
A school spokesman told The Herald Times of Bloomington, Ind., that officials have decided to rotate a prominent link about Lauren Spierer with other information on the Bloomington campus' home page. It will be featured the first week of every month and remain on the Protect IU page indefinitely.
The Greenburgh woman's father, Robert Spierer, wrote on Facebook that the family is disappointed by the decision.
