Police: Connecticut man posted ad for marijuana on Craigslist
Police say a Middletown man is facing charges after posting an advertisement for marijuana on Craigslist.
Twenty-one-year-old Daniel Demelis is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell.
Authorities began an investigation after they were alerted to an ad for "instant anxiety and depression relief." The ad mentioned that the "remedies" could be smoked and were "of the highest quality."
Police say they arrested Demelis after making undercover drug purchases from him this month.
Demelis was arraigned Friday in Middletown Superior Court.
He's due back in court Feb. 9.
It's unclear whether Demelis is represented by an attorney.
