Rob Astorino: Cuomo has to explain commission interference
Get ready for a new daily game you can call "Where in the World Is Andrew Cuomo?" courtesy of his Republican challenger, Rob Astorino.
Astorino is noting the absence of the governor from anywhere reporters might lurk since more questions arose over Cuomo's direct role in his anti-corruption commission. While Cuomo said he and a top aide gave the commission needed advice that focused on the State Legislature, good-government advocates fear it was improper interference.
"Governor Cuomo can't keep hiding from the New York press corps," Astorino said. "Mr. Cuomo has perpetrated one of the greatest breaches of public trust in New York history and that's saying something . . . He has to explain himself."
