SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Officials at Skidmore College, which locked down its campus after a man's threats against a student, say the suspect has been caught.

A notice on the college's website Wednesday morning said officials were told by Saratoga Springs police that the man had been apprehended. The police department on Wednesday identified Lance Leonard, 49, as the man who threatened to harm a Skidmore student and himself. That prompted college officials to lock down the campus from Tuesday night until early Wednesday.

Authorities say Leonard's last known address was on Cuttyhunk Island, off the coast of Massachusetts.
