With the "Catholic 7" reportedly taking the Big East name with them when they leave the conference on June 30, what's left of the conference is set to become the America 12, according to ESPN.

The conference has been through a radical reshaping in the past two years, with just three of the 16 schools that made up the league before realignment started set to remain in the new edition.

The new name came to light after reports Thursday said the Catholic 7 and the other schools reached an agreement that would let the Catholic schools keep the Big East name and the rights to its tournament at Madison Square Garden.
