Riverhead Town budget hearing Nov. 1

The Riverhead town board will hold a hearing on the 2012 proposed budget at 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at town hall. The hearing was approved at a Tuesday night meeting.

Riverhead is proposing a 3.3-percent increase in spending and a 2.86-percent increase in the tax levy in its $51,615,900 budget for next year.
