Tickets are on sale for the Rockland Center for the Arts 65th Anniversary Gala that will take place at the Paramount Country Club in New City from 5 to 10 p.m. Feb. 9.

Founded in 1947 by a group of artists including Aaron Copland, Paulette Goddard, Kurt Weill, Lotte Lenya, Maxwell Anderson and Helen Hayes, the Rockland Center for the Arts grew from a volunteer organization in a storefront to become the largest professionally staffed multi-arts center in the lower Hudson Valley.

Located on a 10-acre property in West Nyack, the center attracts more than 25,000 visitors and students annually. Its School for the Arts and Summer Arts Day Camp has a yearly enrollment of more than 2,000.

Tickets for the anniversary celebration are $150 each, with a table for 10 costing $1,250.
