Rodriguez's single lifts Westbury over Lawrence

David Rodriguez broke a tie at 1 with a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning and Nick Arevalo struck out five in a complete game to lead Westbury over Lawrence, 3-2, in non-league baseball.

Billy Casseus made a diving catch in centerfield with two outs and the tying run on third to seal the victory for Westbury (2-3).

Roslyn 7, Sewanhaka 6:Ben Saltzman drove in John Peck with a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning for Roslyn (2-1) in non-league. Lynbrook 7, VS North 5:Vin Sharkey (3-for-4, homer, four RBIs) hit a two-run triple to give Lynbrook (3-0-1) a 7-4 lead in the sixth inning in an AA-II matchup.GN South 10, Uniondale 8: Jon Dennett's fourth-inning grand slam gave Great Neck South (2-1) a 9-7 lead in A-II. Dominick Torres hit two two-run homers for Uniondale (0-1).

Glen Cove 3, Clarke 2: Rich Maccarone scored the go-ahead run from third on an error in the eighth for Glen Cove (1-2) in ABC-I. Peter Cappiello struck out 10.

Patchogue-Med 6, Commack 5:Kyle Wilson's sacrifice fly scored Joe Pasqualino (2-for-3) to win it for Patchogue-Medford (3-1) in League I. Commack's Pete Leonello hit a three-run homer in the top of the seventh to tie it at 5.

Westhampton 10, C. Moriches 9: Mark Podlas' bases-loaded single in the eighth won it for Westhampton (1-3) in non-league. Westhampton trailed 9-8 in the seventh before Zach Gorman singled in Justin LaGrasse.

Kellenberg 9, SJB 4:Mike Cotty went 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs and two RBIs to lead Kellenberg (1-3).
