Russell Westbrook smiled as he walked off the court in San Antonio, blowing a kiss to a spectator and waving at the few Oklahoma City Thunder fans in attendance.

The joyful tidings were a drastic change from the scowling, screaming, chest-thumping passion Westbrook showed while essentially walking into the Spurs' home on Christmas Day and kicking aside their presents.

"Regardless of what's going on, like I said before and I'm going to keep saying it, my job is to attack," said Westbrook, who had 34 points and 11 assists yesterday as Oklahoma City beat San Antonio, 114-106, in a rematch of last season's Western Conference finals.

Westbrook led the Thunder to its sixth straight regular-season victory over the Spurs in the first meeting between the teams since San Antonio topped Oklahoma City in six games last spring on the way to a fifth title.

Westbrook shot 14-for-28 and had five rebounds and five steals in a fevered performance. "You've just got to rally behind him," the Thunder's Anthony Morrow said. "He's a leader, natural born. He comes out there, he plays hard."

"He does what he does night in and night out," Spurs guard Danny Green said. "He attacks the rim relentlessly. He gets to the free-throw line. He had some open looks for their shooters. He did it all for his team.''

Serge Ibaka had 21 points and Steven Adams added 16 points and 15 rebounds for the Thunder. Matt Bonner had 17 points for the Spurs, who have lost five of six. "I thought they outplayed us almost in every facet of the game," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "When somebody retrieves 50 percent of their shots, you can't say you're focused or playing competitive in any way, shape or form. When you add turnovers to that and missed assignments defensively, it's a pitiful performance."

Clippers 100, Warriors 86: Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 24 points in 28:07 and Chris Paul added 22 for the host Clippers. Blake Griffin had 18 points and 15 rebounds and DeAndre Jordan added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Bulls 113, Lakers 93: Pau Gasol had 23 points and 13 rebounds, Jimmy Butler scored 21 points and Derrick Rose added 20 for host Chicago. Wesley Johnson led the Lakers with 19.

Kobe Bryant, 36, sat out his second straight game. He said his knees, Achilles tendons, feet and back are sore, cited "old age" and said he needs to "reset my body." -- AP
