Rye library to present 'A Christmas Carol'
An one-man adaptation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" will be performed by M & M Productions Acting Company, Inc. at 2 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room at the Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Rd.
Dickens wrote the story in 1843. From 1857 on, he performed one-man public readings of his books. This was his most popular reading and he toured with it throughout England and the United States.
This production is entitled "Mr. Dickens Tells A Christmas Carol."
