Patchogue-Medford High School senior, Saad&nbsp;Amer, is&nbsp;passionate about the arts. He works in the mediums of graphic design, photography, photo-manipulations, digital illustration and video.&nbsp; His&nbsp;successes have placed him in the top one percent of his class. Saad’sgraphic design and photography work have won him many&nbsp;awards, including Best in Show at the <a href="/topics/Long_Island%2C_NY">Long Island</a> Media Art Show and&nbsp;second place at the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts&nbsp;Art Show.&nbsp; Saad was&nbsp;named a Finalist in the <a href="/topics/Rachel_Carson">Rachel Carson</a> Photography Contest sponsored by the <a href="/topics/Environmental_Protection_Agency">EPA</a> and earned a Congressional Artist Award from the <a href="/topics/U.S._House_of_Representatives">House of Representatives</a>.&nbsp; His work has been displayed at <a href="/topics/Five_Towns_College">Five Towns College</a>, the Advanced Vision 7 Art Show and&nbsp;<a href="/topics/Smithtown%2C_NY">Smithtown</a> Arts Council.&nbsp; In addition, his video work took first place in the environmental category at the <a href="/topics/Long_Island%2C_NY">Long Island</a> Youth Summit.
