Sachem East wins Suffolk overall championship
Sophomore Meagan Doherty scored a career-high 23 points for Sachem East in a 59-31 win over Center Moriches in the Suffolk overall championship game at Farmingdale State. Boston College-bound Kristen Doherty scored 18 for Sachem East (19-3). Amber Davis led Center Moriches with 10 points.
