The district is proposing a budget of $1,595,915 for the 2010-11 school year, an increase of 3.15 percent over the current $1,547,150. The tax levy would rise to $1,543,665, an increase of 2.05 percent over the current $1,512,650.

The proposed budget includes a 3 percent increase in teacher salaries.

In addition, there are three referendums on the ballot. The third would provide transportation to all Sagaponack students in grades 1-4 regardless of their distance from the school.
