Sarle scores with 2 seconds left to rescue West Islip

Casey Sarle scored with two seconds left for West Islip in a 15-14 win over Commack Saturday in Suffolk Division I girls lacrosse. Loren Ziegler had six goals and two assists and Devan Crimi five goals and one assist for West Islip (3-0). Kelsey Dlugos scored six goals for Commack.

Deer Park 16, Center Moriches 7: Melyssa Matthewson had three goals and three assists to lead Deer Park (2-1) in Division II. Angela Oliveto had three goals and an assist and Monica White two goals and two assists.

Division 10, MacArthur 7: Christina Rea scored with 8:12 left to put Division (1-1) up 9-7 and she scored the final goal with 5:37 left in Conference II.

Floral Park 15, Long Beach 6: Casey Naab had seven goals to lead Floral Park (3-0) in Conference III. Julia Schmidt added four goals and two assists.Locust Valley 15, Bethpage 3: Aubrey Cannone led Locust Valley (4-0) in Conference III with six goals and two assists. Micailah Donner had four goals and three assists and Jackie Yaraghi had nine saves.Hewlett 13, Wheatley 10: Jenni Rogoff had six goals and two assists to lead Hewlett (4-0) in Conference V.

Garden City 12, South River 11: Caroline Tarzian (four goals) scored the winner with 1:37 remaining to lead Garden City (3-0) at the Mount Hebron Tournament in Maryland. Mikaela Rix had four goals and one assist for the Trojans.

Emmitt O'Hara scored the final goal off an assist from Scott with 2:34 left. O'Hara had two goals and three assists and Joe May made 10 saves in the win.Ward Melville 9, Yorktown 4: Will Mazzone led Ward Melville (5-0) with three goals and three assists and Joe Bellavia had 14 saves in non-league.
