SCCC Eastern Campus forum on student aid
A financial aid forum for future students will be held Tuesday on the Eastern Campus of Suffolk County Community College from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Officials from the college will be joined by representatives from the State Higher Education Services Corp. and the Vanguard Group, a private investment firm with experience in student loans, according to Assemb. Dan Losquadro (R-Shoreham), who organized the forum.
Future students and their families will be offered information about how to get financial aid, and about student loans and grants.
The event will be held in the Montaukett Learning Resource Center on the campus at 121 Speonk-Riverhead Rd. While commonly called the Riverhead campus of Suffolk County Community College, the Eastern Campus is actually in the Riverside area of Southampton Town.
