Emily McPherson divides her school day between the <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> High School for the Arts, where she is a Musical Theatre major, and <a href="/topics//Elwood,_NY">Elwood</a>/<a href="/topics//John_Glenn">John Glenn</a> High School. She is a “triple threat” performer who sings, dances and acts equally well.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Academically she is a member of the National Honor Society and takes all Honors and A.P. classes.&nbsp;&nbsp; 
 Emily has participated in NYSSMA’s All State Mixed Chorus, and All County Festivals.&nbsp; She has performed for the <a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a> Region PTA Dinner, The Oyster Festival, Relay for <a href="/topics//Life_(show)">Life</a>, and for senior citizens in local nursing homes.&nbsp; 
 In addition to studying Theatre at The <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> High School for The Arts and working on shows at <a href="/topics//John_Glenn">John Glenn</a> High School, she takes Theatre classes and has performed at Stage To Screen in New York City.&nbsp; Emily values her academic &nbsp;and theatre classes equally, and hopes to continue both as a Musical Theatre major in college.
