Bakula to star in another 'NCIS' spinoff
Scott Bakula ("Quantum Leap," "Men of a Certain Age") will star in CBS' New Orleans-set spinoff of "NCIS," TV's highest-rated drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Planned to air this spring, a two-part pilot centers on the NCIS New Orleans office. Bakula will play Special Agent Pride, a man "who embodies New Orleans," according to CBS. "NCIS" has already spun off the successful "NCIS: LA," but last year a spinoff called "NCIS: Red," starring Kim Raver and John Corbett, was not picked up as a series.
