What are you doing this summer?

If you're around, you might want to check out a new business networking program called Take Your Business Outside to be held at the Chateau in Carle Place and featuring some unusual speakers, such as Michael "Eppy" Epstein, founder of the now-closed My Father's Place rock club in Roslyn, and Sam Antar, former chief executive of the Crazy Eddie consumer electronics chain.

Cindy Smith, spokeswoman for the organizers, the Scotto Brothers, Woodbury-based caterers, said the Scottos were looking to do something different. "Networking events are pretty much the same," she said. This, she said, will involve chatting, drinks and then chatting with the guest speakers.

The series of five events kicks off June 15. Info at chateaubriandcaterers .com/meeting/networking-events.
