Seaford-Oyster Bay northbound opens after crash, police say
An overturned truck Monday afternoon forced the temporary closure of the northbound Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway at Exit 8, Nassau County police said.
All northbound lanes were closed shortly before 2 p.m. due to the crash, but the right lane was reopened within minutes, officials said.
All lanes had reopened as of 2:41 p.m. according to Informny.com, the state Department of Transportation website.
A police spokesman said there were no immediate reports of injuries in the accident, which occurred on the roadway near Bethpage State Park.
