Search for kayaker called off
The U.S. Coast Guard said it has suspended the search for a kayaker reported missing Sunday in Long Island Sound.
An initial search was called off Monday. It resumed yesterday after the kayak the man was using was found in Goldsmith's Inlet on the North Fork.
The kayaker, Fengquan Guan, of Beijing, was visiting a friend in Milford.
The search was suspended at 8 p.m. Tuesday pending further developments, the Coast Guard said.
