The Super Bowl beer bet is on, and either way the Senate wins.
If the Giants win, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) must buy fellow senators beer crafted in New York. If the Patriots triumph, Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is on the hook for suds made in Portsmouth, N.H.
"I can't wait for Sen. Shaheen to participate in the 'I Love New York Brew' campaign," he said.
Countered Shaheen: "I look forward to joining the rest of my fellow senators as we wash down New England's win with some of New Hampshire's best brews."
