Seventeen Long Island girls lacrosse players were named first-team All America by the U.S. Lacrosse Women's Division Coaches Council. In all, nearly 400 girls were selected from the 63 U.S. Lacrosse chapters.

Long Island's 17 selections are second only to Eastern Massachusetts' 19. Garden City had five itself, while Rocky Point had three, and Shoreham-Wading River, St. Anthony's and Manhasset each had two.
