Shanice Allen has accomplished a lot in her five-year varsity basketball career.
The senior now can add all-time leading girls scorer at Riverhead to her list of achievements as she totaled 36 points Thursday in her team’s 72-50 win over visiting Centereach in a Suffolk League III game.

Allen has 1,208 points, surpassing the previous mark of 1,195 set by Felicia Hobson in 1991.

“She’s a hard worker,” Riverhead coach David Spinella said. “She makes it easy on me.”
Naysha Trent added 20 points for Riverhead, which improved to 3-1 in League III.
