‘Shed the Meds’ drop-off program

Residents can safely dispose of expired and unused medications during two events of the “Shed the Meds” program next Thursday.
State Sen. Charles J. Fuschillo Jr. (R-Merrick) is sponsoring the program from 5 to 8 p.m. at these drop-off locations:
* Merrick Jewish Centre, 225 Fox Blvd., in Merrick.
* St. Rose of Lima Church, 2 Bayview Ave., in Massapequa.
