Shira Stoll

Shira Stoll, a senior at Patchogue-Medford High School, is an accomplished photographer. She has completed all courses within the photography track of study including AP Studio 2-D.

Shira’s photography has won many awards including Grand Prize in the Student Category at the Gurwin Photo Contest, Best in Show at the Long Island Media Arts Show, and an Achievement Award at Long Island’s Best Young Artists at Heckscher Art Museum. Her work has also been exhibited by the Huntington Arts Council at the Petite Gallery, the Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts (BAFFA) Art Gallery, Briarcliff College Artists Showcase, Jeannie Ten Gelsen Gallery, and Brookhaven Town Hall.

Shira’s other successes have placed her in the top ten percent of her graduating class.

Her musical talents have been adjudicated at festivals sponsored by the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), and she has been accepted to All County Music Festivals.

She recently spent a summer at NYSSSA, New York State Summer School of the Arts, on the campus of SUNY Oswego where she studied digital photography.
