'Singing bus driver' visits Bohemia school to teach safety, civility

Joe Guida is the "singing bus driver." He visited John Pearl Elementary School in Bohemia on Tuesday to teach the children about bus safety and how to be a nice neighbor.

A former bus driver himself, he realized the importance of school bus safety after retiring, so he developed the school bus safety program that he brings to schools. The program fits in with the school's "peaceful bus safety" program, which aims to teach children kindness in school, on the playground and on the bus.
