Sledding and strategizing
Sara Martinez went to Greenlawn Hardware to buy new sleds with her daughters Katherine, 13, and Isabella, 8.
"We like the snow but it makes me a little nervous and it's a lot to get out into," Martinez, 38, said.
Andrew Bykov, 46, was loading bags of salt in his car, strategizing with shoveling the snow.
"I'm just getting ready and trying to stay ahead of it, Bykov said.
"I'll shovel a few hours tonight so Saturday won't be so bad.I don't mind shoveling to get exercise and enjoy it a little before a post-Christmas vacation.”
