Smithtown hazardous waste disposal
Smithtown residents doing their spring cleaning can properly dispose of hazardous waste Saturday, April 30, at a town facility in Kings Park.
Household products that will be accepted in their original containers include antifreeze, paint remover, pool chemicals and insect spray.
The event, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., will be at the Smithtown municipal services facility (85 Old Northport Rd.), and is limited to town residents. For more information, visit www.smithtowninfo.com or call 631-269-6600.
