Kwanzaa celebration canceled

The Town of Babylon announced on social media that its Community Kwanzaa Celebration, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday in Lindenhurst, has been cancelled due to the pending snowstorm.

It was unclear if the event would be rescheduled.

Kwanzaa starts Friday and runs through New Year's Day.
